Thanks for being careful to note both the version of
python you are using and the reasons for not using
later version such as 3.1.2 which is recommended
for new projects. I am (sob,sob) trying to work cross
platform between Windows Vista 64 bit, Mac OS X
10.4, & various Ubuntu’s using 3.1.2. It is a real
pain to read through a site such as PyGt only to
realize after two days it doesn’t work with 64 bit
python 3.1.2, only 32 bit.

As Panic said above (post #4) some exercises would be very helpful and appreciated, ie, walking through making some simple (but more than the usual ‘Hello World!” example…) app.

It would be really nice of you could publish the “GUI – Qt development” part ASAP because I got interested to Python but I want to create a nice Hildon GUI with QT, too. So PyQt4 is running but is not “hildonized”. Thanks for all your hard work and have a nice christmas! I hope you will get your N900 soon.

Yes, we hope to have some sections on Meamo specific modules and on GUI development. Unfortunately, those sections may take some time to materialize. Especially since Dell is giving me such a hard time with my order:
